Greetings!
Are you frustrated with your streaming eyes, runny nose and embarrassing sneezing attacks? The Berkeley Clinic can offer you a range of therapies to help fight those niggling symptoms that for some can be debilitating.
In this issue we introduce you to the successful use of homoeopathy and how it can help combat your hay fever and allergies.
Read the personal experiences of actress Julie Graham, popular actress in The Bill, and how she continues to successfully use homoeopathy and shiatsu for herself and her family, and Gee Sahota who after having her allergic related asthma treated with homoeopathy decided to make a life changing decision to become a Homoeopath herself.
And finally the popular treatment of Shiatsu that uses age old Japanese acupressure techniques to strengthen the whole immune system and help fight a range of symptoms from dust, pollen and animal fur.

Did you know that Homoeopathy has an excellent success rate for helping Hay fever?
As regular sufferers of hay fever frown at the impending pollen season, many have wiped their head with relief as they have used homoeopathy to help deal with their symptoms.
If you usually suffer from allergies in the spring/early summer, it is best to get homoeopathic treatment BEFORE the hay fever season begins. Homoeopathy works with your whole system and can stimulate your body to help it to cope with the allergen which typically would give you a runny nose, streaming eyes, and or sneezing fits. For optimum results, why not arrange to see one of our trained Homoeopaths for a session in April, with a follow up in May, if you want to avoid these early summer allergic reactions. Of course homoeopathy can also provide relief from hay fever symptoms, once you are experiencing them, but how much better if you can manage to avoid them in the first place!

Gee Sahota, describes how receiving homoeopathic treatment for her allergy related asthma changed her life and inspired her to become a Homoeopath.
A phenomenal 5.1 million people suffer from asthma in the UK, a condition that can be very frightening when having an asthma attack. Many have achieved a better quality of life after receiving homoeopathic treatment.
Gee Sahota's homoeopathic work in India
"From the age of 3-14, I was in and out of hospital every year. It did improve slightly once I had come out of my teenage years but was still very debilitating - especially as I loved sport. It wasn't until Berkeley Digby, a prominent homoeopath and osteopath in South Africa treated me at the age of 25 did I suddenly turn my life around.
After 3 months of treatment, I was not as affected by pollen, dust or milk and I could run for miles. It was so amazing for me that I decided to become a Homoeopath myself and have since done extensive charity work in India with deprived and malnourished children and their families."
As homeopathy aims to treat you your system as a whole, symptoms are noted on a mental, emotional and physical level and a remedy, usually provided in tablet form, is matched to those symptoms. For many who are treated by homoeopathy, from eczema, constipation, depression, anxiety, PMT, and many more, a significant number have cited a dual life enhancing experience as it seeks to restore balance to the mind and body as a whole and leads you to better choices in life.
Gee Sahota has newly joined the Berkeley Clinic and is trained in Homoeopathy and Indian Head Massage therapy.

Shiatsu for your allergies
The most widely known form of acupressure, Shiatsu has been used in Japan
for many years to treat pain and illness and to maintain health. As your
practitioner, using a series of techniques, I will apply rhythmic finger
pressure at specific points on the body to stimulate its ability to flow and
strengthen the immune system, whilst dealing with your specific allergy symptoms
at the same time.
Most common symptoms of allergy
that Shiatsu can help with are pollen, house dust, animals, and yeast, foods or
food adjectives. Shiatsu can also help hay fever and hives as well as asthma
and eczema. I will also have a close look at your diet and life style and give
individual recommendations if needed.
