Dear Friend,I'm ready for a beach getaway! How about you? Passionate Pursuit on the Beach is not only a respite for the body; it's refreshment for the spirit. Last year's event was unparalleled - fun, festive and fruitful for the soul. Yet, what the Holy Spirit has planned for this year is even more amazing!
God knows your need, your inner ache, deepest desires and greatest frustrations...and I believe He longs to speak to you about them at Passionate Pursuit. He has orchestrated a program specifically for you.
Dramatist and singer, Angela Morgan, will be performing "Finding a Prince...in a Not So Fairy Tale World." This touching and humorous drama contains an encouraging message for mothers - Not just a message, a fresh touch from God. Bring a mother! She will be blessed!
"Finding a Prince" isn't just for mothers. At its heart is a word for all of us women and our deepest desires. You won't just see a performance. You will meet a Person - the person of Jesus Christ. I believe He will touch you in the depths of your being through this unique presentation.
Hold on to your seat! That's not all God has in store!! Natalie Jansen, lead worshiper at Harmony Hill, will be leading us before the Throne of Grace in glorious music. What an evening!
I will share a brief word of encouragement God has spoken to me in recent weeks.
- Have you had thoughts you can't believe are crossing your mind? Doubts about God's willingness to supply your need? Doubts about His faithfulness?
- Does it seem like God rewards others
for their upright walk, but for your faith and diligence you receive
only trials?
- Were you close to God during the 21-day fast, but now He seems a million miles away?
You are not alone. I've experienced the same feelings recently. God has given me insight as to the cause of the crisis and His source of comfort and strength. "Cash It. Don't Trash It: The Reward of Tenacious Confidence" will encourage you to not throw away your confidence - Christ WILL reward!
And what is the icing on the cake??? Last summer, the Holy Spirit led me to launch the Passionate Pursuit season in prayer - a Concert of Prayer, seeking God's direction and anointing upon the season. The constant theme of the year has been prayer. Only last week did I realize the date correlation: we are closing our season on the National Day of Prayer.
, that gives me chills. The Holy Spirit has permeated this season of Passionate Pursuit. Women have come to know Christ, bondages have broken, the future of children and families have been forever changed! And it all began with prayer. How fitting, how supernatural, how Biblical that our season will close in prayer...on the National Day of Prayer. What a way to usher God's blessings into your summer, launching the season in prayer with other women on this significant day!
