Dear Friend,
Passionate Pursuit is moving to a new location! Mark your calendar for the next event: January 14, 2010 at the Piney Woods Country Club.
This month's event was phenomenal! Even though the Holy Spirit indicated
to me ahead of time that He was going to do something new and powerful at
November's Passionate Pursuit, I still could not have anticipated the way or degree to which He moved. There was a freedom and conviction in prayer
that churches, ministries and individuals long to experience.
Listen to a few of the comments from November's event:
"Wow! Where do I begin? God was in this place
tonight!!!"
- Dayna
"I was convicted and humbled tonight! Thank you,
Jesus!"
- Paula
"I actually felt chill bumps
going up and down my spine as I listened to the powerful prayers being lifted
to God."
The Concert of Prayer was similar - in that the Holy Spirit began indicating months in advance that it would be a
special and unusual evening. It would be
anointed! I did my best to convey this to the Passionate Pursuit women weeks in advance...but after experiencing His presence at the Concert,
it became clear that words had failed me.
I mention this to say that the Holy
Spirit is speaking to me about January's Passionate Pursuit. It is going to be
an unusual, blessed, anointed evening - one that will impact your life! You don't want to miss it. I will do my best in the coming days to share
with you the veiled revelation God is giving me about January's event. But
know that words will never do justice to His presence, His power and His plan. Hearing about it in advance will never compare to the experience of it. He will far exceed any advance description.
January 14th is going to be great! - With a powerful Moment in Concert and a message I believe will impact your walk with Christ deeply. This Summer, the Lord gave me exciting direction regarding January's Passionate Pursuit. I look forward to sharing more with you about it in the coming days!
Mark your calendar and

"...for he who comes to God must

seek Him" Hebrews 11:6 (emphasis
added).

A Reason to Give Thanks, Even in Hard Times
This Thanksgiving Day, amid more job loss, economic downturn and
financial hardships, we tend to be preoccupied by all of the negative
and challenging circumstances of our lives.
As this thought crossed my mind today, the Holy Spirit brought a simple verse to mind:
"Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you" (Psalm 116:7).
No doubt you are experiencing trials of one kind of another...

How do I pray for lost loved ones?
In today's Concert of Prayer, the Holy Spirit is leading me to pray
for those who do not know Jesus Christ. For a moving, real-life
illustration of the need for your prayer and witness, see My surprise Visitor - I believe this post will motivate you in your prayer for the lost.
One of the most helpful, encouraging personal accounts of prayer for lost souls is found in The 2959 Plan by
Peter Lord. In this guide to prayer and communion with God, Peter
shares a letter written to him by a person who saw dramatic answers to
prayer - after praying ineffectively for lost loved ones for over 20
years...

 My Surprise Visitor
I was pleasantly surprised today when a young lady came by my
house. We met two years ago, September 5, 2007, under grim
circumstances. The first thing I heard was her voice, screaming in the
night...
The following story recounts that life-changing evening:
As the flames crept closer and closer
all she could do was scream ...

God Promised. Do I still pray about it? The Holy Spirit woke me last Friday with Acts 9, the story of Saul's
conversion. As He opened the scriptures, I was struck by new things in
this familiar story. Among them a principle the Lord has been driving
home to me lately--that God-given promises and visions require prayer.
Even when we respond in faith, confessing, believing, expecting God to
act - prayer is still vital.
As we pray in concert today, I feel led to share these encouraging
insights about prayer from Acts chapter nine. The story of Saul of
Tarsus (later called Paul) actually reveals a lot about the mind of God
concerning prayer...
