| Did You Know That ... |
 Non-scientific statistical information on certain types of steering system failures show that:
· Approximately 70% of steering gears with auto poppets fail because of suspension problems, which can be anything from a completely worn out front end to the steering stops being out of adjustment. Note: the Ross TAS gears has been out since 1987.
· Approximately 20% to 25% of steering gears fail because of a hydraulic problem or steering column problem.
· Approximately 5% to 10% of steering gear failures are component failures resulting from an old, worn unit.
