You've been a dedicated DiSC Profile user for some time and, of course, have grown to appreciate the applicability and accuracy of the information. If you keep on using the profile edition you're using now, you'll continue to see positive results.
BUT...I have to encourage you to try the newer versions of DiSC because the depth of knowledge about behaviors and their impact keeps getting clarified by DiSC profile upgrades.
What's the difference in the next level of DiSC?
The traditional D-i-S-C graph has become a dot on a circle of styles and we like it - a lot! The new approach to diagramming one's intensity in any of the behavioral styles is easier to understand, visualize and relate to.
You'll find it's more effective to conduct training sessions focusing on how one person relates to another - and why. Interpersonal relationships, how they complement and conflict with one another, are easier to explain and to understand.
We're also finding there's a lesser tendency to "button-hole" someone as a D, i, S or C - it's easier to see how many of us have overlapping styles and are really a blend of styles.
The result? A better grounding in behavioral styles, how one's own style may affect others AND valid tips on how to interact more effectively with others.
