    • Monday - Friday: 10:00AM - 7:00PM
    • Saturdays: 10:00AM - 5:00PM
    We will resume our regular hours March 1, 2010


    Habitual Running!?

    It's been said that we are creatures of habit. That can be bad, if we become creatures of bad habits!

    Running unfortunately, is no different than many other aspects of life where our human imperfection causes us to fall into bad habits!

    The attached article below lists some of the bad habits we can fall into as runners, but more importantly, offers some excellent advice as to how to go about changing them.

    This March, Fleet Feet and New Balance will team up again and offer the third edition of the popular "No Boundaries" training program.

    No Boundaries is a beginner runner training program that helps you adopt a fitness lifestyle by training you to run your first 5K.

    This year our inaugural run will be March 27th and we will train you for the Reach Foundation 5K, our target race, on June 13th. We will also have two info nights to be held on March 18th and 23rd each at 7:30PM

    Yoga For Runner's Workshop!

    Not only is running's boom continuing, yoga is also experiencing strong growth.

    Stop by Fleet Feet on February 17th for a free yoga workshop. In this workshop, Catie Tritremmel will show you how you can incorporate yoga into your running routine and how yoga can help you in attaining a healthy lifestyle.

    We "Got the Runs!"
    Rocks 2008

    Tired of running alone? Need a little motivation? Want some running buddies? Then join us at FLEET FEET on Wednesday mornings at 7:45AM for a Fun Run.

    Typically, our runs are easy paced, averaging between 3 and 4 miles and are open to everyone! Make new friends and stay in shape at the same time!

    Our marathon training program has ended and our Sunday group long runs will be open to anyone who wishes to run. They will resume shortly, and be held periodically throughout the month. Keep watch in this newsletter for the dates they resume. You can also click on the calendar on our website at anytime between newsletters, for dates, times and venues for when they will be held.

    If the weather ever makes you question if a run will be held, please check out the home page of our website @ www.fleetfeet mahwah.com , for up to the minute status of our run.

When you're not with customers, it also includes answering the phone promptly, display work, stock work, housekeeping, and assorted other retail chores. If marketing is also one of your talents, we need that too! We can be flexible with hours and days but, Saturdays are "biggies."
