Michael Griego was born in Los Angeles, California. He studied classical and flamenco guitar under Darryl Denning in the Classical Guitar Program at Occidental College where he received a BA in English Literature and then an MBA from Stanford University. He continues to play and advance his craft in public performances over the years while pursuing his varied interests. He resides in Mountain View, California.
