    72% of Firms Increase Marketing Budgets in 2010
    After freezing or reducing budgets in a challenging 2009, many firms increased marketing budgets toward strategic objectives with the following priorities:

    • Increasing customer acquisition (91.2%)
    • Increasing brand awareness (54%)
    • Optimizing cross-selling and up-selling (41.2%).
    CSO Insight's 2010 Lead Generation Optimization Report reveals that, based on quality and quantity of leads, respondents selected their top 3 lead generation programs:

    3. Web site registration
