Surround Yourself With Colors You Love

COme sit with me  color logo
There's no reason to live with colors you don't like or possibly what's even worse.....no color at all.  When you think about it, color is free.  Fabric, art, area rugs, lighting, paint, wallpaper all arrive with free color.  The question is whether you will take advantage of it.

We're here to boost your color confidence. The look of sheer joy on a client's face when they connect with a fresh new palette of color possibilities is priceless!

Ideas To Try Now
Invigorate your dining room. Get rid of that tired old pair of arm chairs. Replace them with two host chairs upholstered from head to toe in a fabric you adore.

Consider your home incomplete until you have art on the walls.  Even paintings and photographs with subtle color express a home's beauty.  The trick is to mix  your art with the right accessories to really pull a room together. If you're traveling this summer, make a special point to find at least one piece of art that speaks to you.

Remember the details.  Cabinet hardware, chair welting, a

paintiTacksng's frame - these are the details that elevate a look from good to great. See wood as a color with texture instead of just taking it for granted.

Did You Know?

Column perspective

In the first century B.C., Vitruvius, a Roman architect and engineer, wrote what has become the most influential work on one of the most classic of all structural forms - the  column.

In it he elaborates on the discovery by the ancient Greeks of entasis, a gradual tapering (in this case enlarging) of the upper two-thirds of the round column,  thereby offsetting the undesirable illusion from eye level that the column shaft grows larger as it ascends.

TOP TIPS
Use old pantyhose to smooth out nicks and dents on candles.  It works on every type - from tapers to pillars.

Your Help Is Still Needed

The National Memorial Ladies are excited to announce that the groundbreaking for the KIA Memorial in Cy-Champ Park is scheduled for this summer.  However,  we are still short of our goal to complete the project.

Consider buying a paver and/or making a donation so we may remember our fallen soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Interior Reflections Saves the Chocolate!

Save the day! We received a frantic phone call from a very concerned mother whose daughter had recently opened her own chocolate shop.

Her daughter had to throw away nearly half (gasp!) of theInterior Reflections saves the day chocolate the previous afternoon because the sun was literally melting her inventory.

The solution was easy.  We placed an urgent order of Duette Architella shades. When we later followed up, we learned the  new shades keep the temperature up to ten degrees cooler in the store, and the top-down/bottom-up feature is a feature  they love for its flexibility.

As seen on DWTS, Extreme Home Makeover and featuredSuper insulating shades

in Architectural Digest, House & Garden and  Elle Décor, Architella honeycomb-within-a-honeycomb construction is the secret to saving money at your windows.  It's one of our fav products from Hunter Douglas.

TOP TIPSSpeaking of energy savings, now's the time to reverse the spin on your ceiling fans.  Counterclockwise in the summer is the way to go.
