Social networking |
Email.....Forums.....Blogs.....LinkedIn.....Facebook
...Twitter......?!?!?
Social networking has become a means for people
with
common interests to stay in touch with lots of other
people all at once.....from the comfort of their
computer / PDA / phone. It's not for everyone, but
those who have embraced electronic media can find it
a useful tool for staying in touch, reconnecting with
past business associates / friends, informing others
about their qualifications or job search, telling others
about an interesting article, getting feedback.
With current economic pressures to reduce
travel and meeting expenses, it
can provide a low cost alternative for networking or
staying informed. The BEAC LinkedIn
group
has over 600 members.
Ready to give it a
try?

About BEAC |
For more than a decade the
Board of Environmental, Health and Safety Auditor
Certifications (BEAC) has been working to ensure that
organizations and government are staffed with
professional auditors who ensure we live in a healthy
and safe world.
BEAC is an independent non-profit
corporation, created in 1997 as a joint venture
between The Auditing Roundtable and The Institute of
Internal Auditors to issue professional
auditor certifications relating to environmental, health
& safety, security, sustainability, social responsibility
(EHS), and other scientific fields.
BEAC applicants must meet a variety of qualification
criteria. Once approved, they are awarded the
professional designation of Certified Professional
Environmental Auditor (CPEA).
The BEAC certification is accredited by the Council of
Engineering & Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB).

BEAC online exams |
BEAC has been diligently working with the
software vendor to convert the BEAC
exams to online
format. We are 99% complete, but the last 1% has
forced us to postpone our planned launch date to
September 30th.
Once the conversion has
been finalized, all current applicants will be notified by
email, with instructions on how to register and
schedule the exam
at the location and date most convenient for you.
We apologize to anyone whose
certification plans have been delayed!
