Greetings!
 | The Barber of Seville, by Gioachino Rossini August 18-19 Olympia Theater at Gusman Center |
presents what is perhaps the funniest of all comic operas, The Barber of Seville. Rossini's fun and lively romp starts with an overture that is instantly familiar to fans of opera, Woody Woodpecker and Bugs Bunny. The opera's energy picks up with a non-stop parade of hit tunes, and concludes with an "all is forgiven" finale bubbling over with joy.
