What a Game last night!!! Tomorrow our Miami Heat play for the Eastern Conference with all eyes right here in Downtown Miami.
Tonight we get set for another fabulous Downtowner get-together at the Olympia Theater at Gusman Center as the Miami DDA presents Eric Hutchinson with Jacob Jeffries Band free. Second Saturday comes packed and all of us Downtowners are most happy to include cheering our Heat tomorrow. Whether at the AAA, a hot Downtown Miami venue or comfy at home, we will all be sending a collective "Let's Go Heat!"
In addition to the super exciting events in Downtown Miami, we get set to welcome a brand new park thanks to the efforts of District 2 Commissioner Marc D. Sarnoff...
It seems that every week we get the chance to welcome new venues and new ways of getting around what is shaping up to be an amazing Downtown Miami!

On June 21, 2012, American Public Transportation Association (APTA), in partnership with The Sierra Club, The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), and public transportation systems across the country will celebrate the 7th Annual National Dump the Pump Day.

Tonight it's all about the Central Business District as the beautiful Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center welcomes Downtowners to the Miami DDA DWNTWN Concert Summer Series. Taking place the 2nd Friday of every month, the DWNTWN Concert Series has developed into a fun tradition for Downtowners to gather, unwind, and enjoy live music.

MiChiMu's Summer Games offers multipleinnovative and interactive components that focus on teamwork, fitness andhealthy lifestyles while spotlighting different nations from around the world.The exhibit will feature fun interactive components such as; Traditional Torches, where visitors canlight the torch flame and try to keep the flame going, Leap Across America and Reachfor the Gold, where visitors will learn geography, distance scales andconversions, and an oversized Olympic Ring Puzzle. Fantastic Gymnastic will encourage children to test their skills ona balance beam or dance away in the fun filled gymnastic area, and Bounce Your Way to Victory, will letchildren will jump their way through a challenging obstacle course bounce house.
MiChiMuSummer Games exhibit opens Saturday June 9thand will run through Labor Day, Monday September 3rd. Miami Children's Museum is located at 980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island in Miami. Entrance to the Summer Games exhibit is included in each regularadmission to the Museum. Admission is $15 for adults and children, $12for Florida Residents, free for children under 1 year and admission for Membersis complimentary.
