Greetings!

As we enter into this holiest time of the year and focus in on Christ's passion, death and resurrection we pray that each of us will grow deeper in our love for Him who gave everything so that we might live. Pope Benedict XVI in his Palm Sunday homily, asks us how we will respond to this great act of sacrifice, advising, "we must respond worthily to so great a gift, that is to say, with the gift of ourselves, our time, our prayer, our entering into a profound communion of love with Christ who suffered, died and rose for us." How will you respond?

Holy Week certainly gives us the opportunity to remove from ourselves and return the focus on Christ and his immense love that took the form of the cross. You'll find in this newsletter different resources we've found and hope will give you more food for thought during this week. Our hope is that these will enhance your Holy Week and, ultimately draw you deeper into Christ's sacrifice.

As always, be sure to visit our blog, and Twitter and Facebook pages which are all updated regularly with all sorts of cool information and reflections.

Our prayerful best wishes for a blessed Holy Week and Triduum for each of you.

May the love of Christ urge us on!

In Christ,
The CAC Team

New Evangelization 101
The Holy Father is meeting with bishops from around the world to discuss it, you've probably heard your priests talk about it and, now, more than ever there's a buzz about it within the Church. What are we talking about? The New Evangelization!

Wondering what New Evangelization is? Join CAC Director Fr. Frank Donio S.A.C., Angela Chiappetta and Brett Garland for a webinar to explore the call of the Church to be a part of the mission of re-proposing the message of the Gospel for our time.

These special interactive webinars will take place on April 17th and April 24th at 9:30pm EDT. Look out for more information to come your way regarding registration!
Questions on the Paschal Triduum

The United States Bishops Conference has provided an excellent resource titled "Eighteen Questions on the Paschal Triduum". This resource is intended to answer any questions about the organization of the liturgies during this time due to their different nature. These most commonly asked questions regarding worship will be both insightful and hopefully even help you if you are involved in your own parish's preparations.

Sunday Mass Reading Reflections

Fr. Rosica C.S.B., one of the founders of the Canadian Salt + Light Catholic media organization and director of the Toronto 2002 World Youth Day, each week offers reflections on the weekend mass readings. A priest of the Basilian Fathers and a biblical scholar, he makes what we hear in the weekly readings understandable and relatable to challenges we face in our own lives.

Fr. Rosica's reflections are a prime opportunity to not let the Word of God pass by each week but rather let it resonate within us and challenge us to grow as apostles of Christ.
