Three New Energy Conservation Programs Discovered in Virginia
eDiscoveri has discovered three new Energy Conservation programs that were recently unveiled by Dominion Virginia Power (DVP) for its Virginia business customers. DVP's website says: "These energy efficiency and peak-shaving programs are designed to meet the needs of our customers and move us towards meeting the state's 10 percent voluntary energy conservation goal enacted by the Virginia General Assembly and the governor in 2007." The opportunities include: Energy Audit, Duct Testing & Sealing and Distributed Generation programs.
The Commercial Energy Audit Program offers an on-site energy analysis for DVP business customers. Customers can receive rebates for installing recommended improvements from an approved DVP energy auditor (Energy Audit Rebate Chart).
The Commercial Duct Testing & Sealing Program offers business customers HVAC duct testing and sealing services from participating DVP contractors. Rebates are available.
The Commercial Distributed Generation Program to quote DVP's website: "... will pay participating customers an incentive to reduce their consumption of electricity from DVP during a limited number of hours each year when electrical demand is high. Supplemental power would be provided by backup generators located at the customer's facility during these periods. DVP has partnered with PowerSecure International, Inc. to implement the program."
Just about all business segments can benefit from at least one of these DVP Energy Conservation Programs. eDiscoveri is prepared to help customers discover the opportunities with each of these programs. |
