We've noticed lately that more and more hot rod and street rod enthusiasts are discovering Forgeline's quality, performance, legendary customer service, and customized made-to-order flexibility. This trend only makes sense, since these unique custom vehicles clearly deserve unique made-to-order custom wheels too. The latest street rod to demand Forgeline wheels comes from a performance industry powerhouse: Jasper, Indiana's RideTech ("Your Suspension Specialists").
Their latest project car is built upon the Factory Five '33 Hot Rod kit with lots of RideTech's own custom engineering and fabrication added to the mix to create one incredibly unique - and incredibly fast - weekend racer. RideTech's '33 Ford project originally started in 2009 with the purchase of their Factory Five kit. But as complicated projects like this tend to go (especially for a rapidly growing company like RideTech), other priorities reared their head and little progress was made on the build for over a year. But then in 2012, work began in earnest, and this car has been enjoying the 2012 summer show and racing season, ever since May.
Of course, a project like this is always a work-in-progress, and RideTech's '33 Ford is no exception. They continue to make adjustments and improvements that deviate somewhat from the original plan. Their latest additions are these 18x12 Forgeline CF3C Concave wheels with Matte Bronze centers and Satin Black inners and outers at all four corners. Yes, you read that correctly; they really are running a "squared" setup with giant 18x12 wheels at all four corners wrapped in beefy 315/30R18 Falken Azenis tires.

Australia's Harrop Engineering thrives on challenges. So when they decided to participate in the 2012 World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney, Australia on August 10-11, 2012, they didn't take the easy way out. In fact, they decided to build a brand new car. But not just any brand new car; they imported a Corvette Z06, converted it to right hand drive, and started tuning it from scratch with only a few weeks of preparation.
With so much to do in such short time, many thought that they'd be lucky to just show up, let alone be competitive. But even with very little tuning time and driving practice, the team at Harrop did A LOT more than just show up. When the dust had cleared after their first attempt at the World Time Attack Challenge in their Corvette Z06 on Forgeline GA1R wheels, they had bettered their original 1:42 lap time goal with a 1:41.08, finished 4th overall, and won the Rear Wheel Drive, Naturally-Aspirated, and V8 divisions!

Forgeline 2011 M3 Project Car Update
Since December 2011, we've been slowly making progress on the latest Forgeline project car: our Space Grey BMW E92 M3 Coupe. This refined Bavarian rocket has a 4.0-liter V8 engine that makes 414 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, in stock form. It is equipped with the seven-speed dual-clutch automated-manual transmission, limited-slip rear differential, and carbon fiber roof. As of August 2012, after several months of testing various wheel fitments and slowly adding additional modifications, the Forgeline project M3 is really starting to come together. It now features:
