American Supercar Falcon F7 on Forgeline SC3C
Falcon F7 on Forgeline SC3C
The all-American Falcon F7 supercar features a carbon-fiber body, aluminum/carbon fiber monocoque chassis, billet suspension, hand-crafted interior, and extreme power to weight ratio.  Only 2785 lbs with 620 HP yields 0-60 mph in about 3.3 seconds and a top speed between 190 to 200 mph. Of course, a car like this would only use the best wheels, and they've chosen Forgeline's new three piece SC3C concave wheel.

Forgeline's New Transparent Smoke FinishAll of us at Forgeline are very proud of our in-house finishing and powder coating facility. Having this capacity under our own roof enables us to deliver a level of quality and service that would simply not be possible, if we were forced to farm this out to an external vendor. It also allows us to experiment with new ideas and create cool new finish options.  A case in point is our newest custom finish: Transparent Smoke.

Our new Transparent Smoke finish is a unique combination of our brushed and machined surface finishes combined with a translucent smoked powder coat. The result is a very modern appearance with a dynamic sheen that varies according to changing lighting conditions. It offers cool industrial sophistication with an occasional radiant glimmer at the same time, as light bounces from the machined aluminum beneath the powder coat.

We offer Transparent Smoke as both a center/monoblock finish (for all three piece centers or entire one piece monoblock wheels) for $150 per piece and as an outer rim finish (applicable to three piece wheels only) for $100 per piece. You can learn more about our new Transparent Smoke finish and see more photos at: http://www.forgeline.com/products/accessories-finishes/center-and-monoblock-finishes/c-transparent-smoke.html.

Back to Back Wins in Grand-Am Rolex GT

Turner Motorsport M3 Wins Rolex GT at Mid-OhioForgeline customers on the professional Grand-Am racing circuit are having a great June, so far. It started with Grand-Am's Rolex GT race at Detroit's iconic Belle Isle, on June 2, where the #88 Camaro of Autohaus Motorsports took the win on Forgeline ZX3Rs.  Then just one week later, the #94 Turner Motorsport BMW M3 scored a Rolex GT victory at Mid-Ohio on their Forgeline GA3Rs.

Forgeline is very proud of our racing heritage and our long history of competitive success. We are passionate about motorsports and driven to build wheels that can withstand the extreme demands of sports car racing. We congratulate the Autohaus and Turner teams for their stellar performances and certainly hope that these two back-to-back Rolex GT wins in as many weeks might be a sign of more success yet to come.

The Grand-Am series (including both the Rolex and Continental Tire Challenge Series) will be back in action at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on June 22-23.

Petty's Garage Performance Tour DisplayPetty's Garage has announced that Forgeline Motorsports is now the exclusive wheel partner for Petty's Garage and its Performance Tour, which is currently traveling all over the United States with an ambitious schedule of events. The Forgeline display made its debut with the Performance Tour at the Goodguys 7th Nashville Nationals in May.

Like Petty's Garage, Dayton, Ohio-based Forgeline is a family-run business where the work is done in-house and whose owners still have hands-on responsibility for daily operations. Brothers David and Steven Schardt share daily management duties, while their father, Jim Schardt (a wheel industry veteran who revived Dayton Wire Wheel, over 40 years ago) still consults with the brothers to solve various engineering and management challenges.

"Anyone who knows me knows I put a lot of value on family," said Richard Petty. "And the commitment you get from a family-run business is like no other. We had a great relationship with Forgeline already, and we're glad to now make them an official partner of Petty's Garage."

"We share a lot of the same ideals and the same business philosophy as the Petty organization, so it's a natural partnership," said Steve Schardt, Forgeline's Sales Manager.  "Richard Petty and the Petty brand have such integrity, and we're very proud of our association. The first time we designed a wheel for Petty's Garage, it was such a smooth and successful process. And we were thrilled when we saw a photo of 'The King' standing in front of a car that was equipped with Forgeline wheels."

Forgeline products have already been used on the Richard Petty Signature Series Challengers, Mustangs, and Chargers that are built at Petty's Garage. Our wheels are also being showcased on the Petty's Garage Performance Tour, which is currently making stops around the U.S. at various Grand-Am Series races, Goodguys events, Fun Ford Weekends, and major car shows.
