Award Nominations Now Open Nominations are now open for 4 major awards to be given at the ASLM2012 conference:
- Certificate of Recognition for Accreditation of Government Laboratories: To recognize newly-accredited and re-accredited government laboratories in Africa.
- Best Laboratory Practice Award: To promote and recognize a sustainable laboratory improvement or best practice leading to tangible and replicable outcomes for enhanced quality in laboratory systems and patient care.
- Best Laboratory Champion Clinician Award: To promote and recognize clinicians in the field of laboratory science with profound impact and benefit to public health.
- Lifetime Achievement Award: To recognize exceptional individual whose contributions to laboratory science has made a major positive impact on public health.

Abstract Submission Closes with >600 Submissions
The abstract submission period for ASLM2012 has now closed.
We had a huge turnout, with more than 600 abstracts submitted to the conference! Reviewers have been extremely impressed with the quality and diversity of the abstracts submitted, which will no doubt translate into some lively and interesting oral and poster sessions at the conference!
Authors will be notified of decisions next Monday, October 1. Student Travel Award notifications will be made Monday, October 8. |
