Join Mike Lawson in Patagonia for HFF!

Join fly fishing legend Mike Lawson, the Henry's Fork Foundation, and Patagonia River Guides on the ultimate fly fishing adventure from March 20-27, 2012.

Mike and PRG have teamed up to support the Henry's Fork Foundation. During this week, a maximum of 12 guests will stay seven nights at the beautiful PRG Lodge at Trevelin and will fish six of Patagonia's premiere rivers, lakes, or creeks each day.

Participants of the trip will have the opportunity to make a donation to the Henry's Fork Foundation, which PRG will match up to 15 percent of the value of the trip. Space is limited so call today! Visit Patagonia River Guides to learn more about fishing with PRG.

Cost: $5,250 per guest.

HFF Brings Fishy Science to 5th Graders

The students of today are the stewards of tomorrow. HFF partnered with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to Trout in the Classroom 5th graders at Ashton Elementary in an effort to educate the next generation of conservationists who will protect the Henry's Fork watershed.

Do you know how many temperature units a rainbow trout egg needs before it hatches? HFF's Anne Marie Emery brought rainbow trout eggs to the school on January 9 and the kids quickly learned that a rainbow trout egg needs 560 temperature units to hatch.

Matt Lyons, the 5th grade science teacher, will integrate Trout in the Classroom into the class curriculum and Anne Marie will visit weekly to check in on the trout. We are posting updates in Facebook so visit HFF's new Facebook  fan page to stay up-to-date on HFF's activities and the news of the Henry's Fork. Read more about Trout in the Classroom in the Island Park News.

Thank You for Your Contribution
Thank you for donating to the 2011 Year-end Appeal. Your contributions have helped HFF start the year 2012 strong. As the only organization solely dedicated to the conservation of the Henry's Fork watershed, HFF's work is essential to maintaining the integrity of the Henry's Fork for today and future generations. We couldn't do our work without you!
