2012 is an Election Year! Are you Registered to Vote?
The General Election will be held on Tuesday November 6th. If you are not registered to vote, follow the steps below to register. In order to vote, South Carolina law requires that one must first register to vote at least 30 days prior to the election. That means that you must register to vote by October 6th.

On this website, you will find a form that can be downloaded. Once you complete the form, you can either mail, fax or scan it your county board of voter registration. You may also visit the county voter registration board in person and complete a form on site. The web page will help you locate the registration site closest to you, and provide you with an address should you decide to mail or email the form/
In order to be eligible to vote, an individual must be a United States citizen, be at least eighteen years old on or before the next election, and be a resident of South Carolina. There is no length of residency requirement in South Carolina in order to register to vote. You can register at any time.
