Get "Ready to Roar" into your first year at Hughes Academy!

Front circle drop off, with 6^th grade students entering the front door only.

Teachers and volunteers will meet students in the lobby.

The 6^th grade students will enjoy a cookout lunch after an abbreviated run through their class schedules.

(Attendance of younger siblings is discouraged)

7^th and 8^th Grade First Night

(No food served for this event)

7^th Grade 5:00-6:00 PM

8^th Grade 6:00-7:00 PM

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 22.

Students must be in the classroom by 8:30 AM.

Please bring notebook paper and pencils the first day of school.

Carpool Parking Pass Auction

Don't stress in the carpool line this year and help support your HUGHES PTSA!

Now until 4pm on August 23, you have the opportunity to bid on a Parking Pass that allows you to pick up your student(s) in the afternoon in the teachers parking lot. No waiting in the carpool line, no worries about how to get your children to after-school activities on time!

Bids start at $250. The Parking Pass will be issued to the winning bidder on Friday afternoon, August 24. Valid August 27-end of school year.

There are 3 passes up for bid!!
