Student Information for 6th and 7th Grade Field Days |
Students will need to come to school dressed in dress code. Don't forget that shorts must come to the top of the knee. T-shirts will be allowed and will be put on before Field Day begins. Teachers typically have the kids choose a solid color to represent their team.
Students may not attend Field Day if they have received an OSS Referral (Out of School Suspension) or more than two ISS (In School Suspension) referrals between the dates of April 12th and May 29th. These students will be expected to stay inside with an adult and complete an assignment.

Update on Tuition Tax Credit/Deduction Amendment |
UPDATE ON LEGISLATION
May 25, 2012
Tuition Tax Credit/Deduction Amendment Withdrawn
Senate completes budget bill without a tuition tax credit/deduction amendment. Yesterday the Senate completed their work on the state budget. Over the last two weeks members of the Senate have put forth and debated amendments to the budget bill. One expected amendment was the entire tuition tax credit/deduction bill passed in March by the House. Earlier this week this amendment was withdrawn. The bill or variations of it could have been put forth as later amendments but were not.
Thank you to everyone who contacted their Senators. Your phone calls (and emails) made a difference!
Original tuition tax credit/deduction bill still in Senate Finance Committee. Even though the budget amendment to establish a tuition tax credit/deduction program was withdrawn, the bill establishing such a program as passed by the House continues to reside in the Senate Finance Committee. At this time it is not known if and when the Finance Committee will take up this bill. There are now two weeks left in the legislative session.
