Avastin vial

Counterfeit vials of Avastin (bevacizumab) have been distributed in the United States.

Healthcare providers are asked to contact the Food and Drug Administration's Office of Criminal Investigations at 800-551-3989 or if they suspect they are in possession of counterfeit vials. (View images of the counterfeit vials.)

If a patient has any questions, they are encouraged to contact the Genentech Drug Safety Department at 888-835-2555 or Fight Colorectal Cancer at 877-427-2111.

So enjoy that truffle, but only because it tastes good; not because you think it's keeping cancer at bay.
