I would like to take this opportunity to thank all current and past members of our military for your service.  Having two sons and a son in law who are all Marines, our family understands and appreciates the sacrifices that you who serve as well as your families make.  

As I read different tributes to the troops today, I wanted to call your attention to one that I thought was especially nice.

PS.  If any of you really want to have some fun, thank a service person, and give yourself a really good feeling at the same time, try this.  Next time you see military personal out eating at a restaurant, quietly call the waitress over and ask to pay for their check anonymously.  Ask the waitress not to tell them who is paying.  Instead just have the waitress take them a simple note that says "Thank you for your service!".  Gail and I have done this several times and it is just so much fun.  Give it a try!
