Step 1 - Predict Their Needs
We'd love to predict all your guest needs, we might miss a few but we can predict one; your guests will require access to power outlets, even guests who travel just with a Phone or laptop will need to charge them. Our research shows the ideal configuration is two available by the bed side and four at the desk.
Retrofitting power outlets is expensive and providing power boards is OK short term but can also be expensive as somehow they disappear very quickly.
Fortunately, there are several options that allow inexpensive additions to your existing power outlets that can be customised to your requirements with regards to number of outlets, position (eg on a desk) and even the look that will compliment your decor.
Step 2 - Meet or Exceed Their Every Need
Provide lots of accessible, transformer friendly power outlets.
- Lots: Two at the bedside, four at the desk
- Accessible: These need to be available to the guest and not used by the desk lamp and preferable not require your guest crawling around on the floor - desk height is perfect.
- Transformer Friendly: Many gadgets have bulky plugs as they include a transformer as is typical for most phones; basically, the outlets need to be spaced apart to allow for transformers.
