Please join us on Friday, August 24th, as we dedicate the newest addition to the Convention Center Mosaic. Artist Cassandra Reid and her apprentice artists via the Harwood Mayor's Art Summer Institute have completed two more large areas leading to the East building entrance. The event starts at 5:30pm.

Public Art Scavenger Hunt at the Zoo Saturday the 25th from 10am-4pm 
Participate in a scavenger hunt at the BioPark Zoo! Find public art and answer questions about the artworks and the animals to get your free pack of Public Art trading cards. the event takes place on Elephant Appreciation Day, Saturday August 25th. We will be handing out the scavenger hunt program from 10am until 4pm near the Throne of Nyoka in the Africa exhibit.
Fun for kids and adults alike!

Visit Artist John Davis' Temporary Public Art Installation on Civic Plaza
A temporary sculpture by artist John Davis has been installed on the south side of Civic Plaza, near Tijeras and the Fourth Street Mall. The artwork is kinetic, moving when the wind blows, and has sound and text components as well. The piece will be on display until the end of 2012. Go check it out!
