Deadline Extended for Firestation #2 Public Art Submissions The deadline for submissions for the Fire Station #2 Art Project has been extended until Friday, May 4th at 5:00 pm. The Art Selection Committee and the Albuquerque Arts Board seek to commission a work of art that is complimentary with the contemporary design of fire station building and supports the Fire Department's presence within this developing community. Artists are encouraged to explore the numerous possibilities for adding a public artwork to the site that would serve as an "identifying signature" for the facility with a fresh, creative image for the Fire Department.
