Art Opening at the South Broadway Cultural Center this Thursday Evening

 
The South Broadway Cultural Center is hosting a show called "Multiplicity" which opens with a reception on Thursday, March 8th from 6-8 pm. The show closes on Saturday, April 21st, 2012. Artists include Amy J. Cliser, Eason Eige, Adrian Panaro, Harriette Tsosie and David Warfield Stire. Tsosie's installation "Baggage Claim" was selected for the IN-SIGHT Temporary Installation Program in 2011 and we look forward to seeing her artwork realized! 
 
5 New Metro Youth Artworks Added to the Public Art Collection 

Five artworks from the Albuquerque Metro Youth Art Show were purchased for inclusion in the City's Public Art Collection. The show, organized by Albuquerque Public Schools and held at Expo New Mexico, is an annual event. This year's show opened on March 2 and will close on April 1, 2012.
The purchase awards are made in memory of Gordon Church, the first manager of Albuquerque's Public Art Program and an avid supporter of school art programs. The selected artworks are below.
