Deadline for "City-wide Sculpture" Submissions is This Friday!

City-wide Sculpture Call

The "City-wide Sculpture Project" will commission nine artists to create sculptures for each of the nine City Council districts in Albuquerque. Emerging artists as well as more established artists from New Mexico are encouraged to apply. Each artist will be given up to $30,000 to complete their project!

The deadline for initial submissions is this Friday, December 16th, 2011. All artists will submit preliminary materials via CallforEntry.org. Join the City of Albuquerque Public Art Urban Enhancement Program and the Bernalillo County Public Art Program for a City/County Open House on Friday, January 20th from 5-7pm. This event is not to be missed so put the date and time in your calendars, we will have more details soon!

New Mexico Arts and the University of New Mexico Los Alamos seek an artist or artist team to create a site-specific commission project that connects the campus to the Los Alamos community and conceptually relates to science, technology, engineering and math. Artists should apply via Call forEntry.org. Go to the NM Arts website for more info.
