The dedication ceremony for Flyway was a great success. Many past and present Arts Board members attended the event along with interested and appreciative city residents. Special thanks to City Councilors Dan Lewis and Ken Sanchez and Cultural Services Director Betty Rivera for attending the dedication as well.
The artist, Robert Wilson, spoke about his inspiration for the artwork and his desire for people to not only look at the piece but to "walk through it" too.
Flyway is near the entrance to the Open Space Visitors Center at 6500 Coors NW. Stay tuned for the premiere of a documentary about the project coming soon!
