With the Sustainability Summit in October, WasteCap Nebraska has been very busy! This double issue of our newsletter has articles about new members, paper prices, as well as information about our upcoming projects and how you can get involved!

Open Harvest Stops Offering Plastic Bags

Open Harvest Co-op Grocery stopped offering plastic bags to customers at the register on January 1st. Instead they are encouraging customers to use their own reusable bag or choose from other options available in the store...

2012 Green Team Roundtables

The 2012 slate of Green Team Roundtable meetings is taking shape in Lincoln, Omaha and Greater Nebraska. Green Team Roundtables are informal, peer-to-peer networking meetings for green team members, EHS professionals, managers, business owners and individuals interested in learning more about sustainable business practices.
