What We Believe, Part 4: Natural Law

Last month I had the pleasure of speaking to MyLiberty San Mateo , a very vibrant Tea Party Patriot group.  MyLiberty is dedicated to the restoration of Constitutionally Limited Government at the Federal level, and the establishment of state/local government consistent with the principles of the greatest Individual Liberty, the sanctity of Private Property, Fiscal Responsibility, and a Free Market Economy. They seek to affect these goals peacefully through education and the power of the vote.  What do you believe?  Are you a 9ther?  (pronounced nīn-θer)  A name or designation describing an individual or group who identify with the principles associated with the Ninth Amendment of the United States Constitution. 

A "9ther" believes the following:

• That all men possess the unalienable right to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them.
• We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
• A "9ther" believes that there is a long tradition of unenumerated rights protected by the United States Constitution.
• A "9ther" acknowledges that the Constitution does not grant rights, it only recognizes them; and the Ninth Amendment reminds us that there are many more human rights than can be listed in just a handful of Amendments.

Our CA Bill of Rights campaign strategy is to get 250,000 9ther activist  to contribute $20 to the Natural Law PAC in order to raise the five million dollars necessary to retain professional petition signatures gatherers.  I've been told by initiative "Pros" that we need at least 1.2 million registered voter signatures to qualify our initiative for the statewide election.  The CA Tea Party Posse only has two goals Moon Beam.  They are to defeat ALL your public employee union's inspired tax initiatives and make sure the People's CA Bill of Rights qualifies for the November 2012 ballot.
