2nd Open Letter to Honorable CA Governor Jerry Brown re:Unalienable Rights Initiative 
  
In your 2011 State of the State speech you cited Article 2, Section 1 of the California Constitution: " All political power is inherent in the People. Government is instituted for their protection, security and benefit, and they have the right to alter or reform it when the public good may require." The Purpose & Need of this proposed CA Unalienable Bill of Rights Initiative  is to secure for the People of California additional revealed Unalienable Rights by amending  the California Constitution Article 1 Declaration of Rights: " Section 1.  All people are by nature free and independent and have inalienable rights.  Among these are enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy."  Note: Californians can surrender, sell or transfer inalienable rights if they consent either actually or constructively. Inalienable rights are not inherent in man and can be alienated by government. Persons have inalienable rights. Most state constitutions recognize only inalienable rights.
  

California's Unalienable Bill of Rights Initiative 2012 Proposed Text

 

SECTION 1 (a).  We, the People, still hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain revealed Unalienable Rights, from conception to natural death, that among these are Life, Liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy from government. 

 

(b). The State of California shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise of the People's revealed exclusive UNALIENABLE RIGHTS to Life or abridging the People's exclusive UNALIENABLE RIGHTS to Life, Production, Distribution, Use and Consumption of air, CO2, water, food, habitat for humanity, universal heal thy self-care  and energy generating natural resources.                                                                                                      

(c). The State of  California shall not levy any taxes, fees, assessments or fines on the People's exclusive "UNALIENABLE RIGHTS" to Life, Production, Distribution, Use and Consumption of air, CO2, water, food, habitat for humanity, universal heal thy self-care  and energy generating natural resources.                                                                                                

(d). The People of California, individually, shall have the exclusive UNALIENABLE RIGHT toNULLIFY  Federal powers not specifically delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, or to the People.

 

I would very much appreciate the opportunity to come out to Sacramento in the next few weeks to meet with Nancy McFadden of Governor Brown's staff and Senator Bob Huff and Assembly Member Connie Conway or their legislative staff to discuss our offer to place the CA Unalienable Bill of Rights initiative on the Special June Ballot Measure Election. We agree with the Governor, " the only way forward is to go back to the people and seek their guidance. It is time for a legislative check-in with the people of California."  It is time for the People to have the opportunity to vote on Californians future  and to secure ALL Californian Unalienable Rights.
