Centenary Happenings

The United Methodist Women are pleased to announce Be Present at Our Table, a recipe and historical keepsake. The cookbook is currently in production and will be available in time for the holidays. It will be a quality, full-color, hardcover book with 500+ pages and over 1,000 recipes from over 350 families within our congregation!

Nominations

The church Nominations Committee has begun its work for 2011 leadership for Church Council, administrative committees and Council on Ministries leadership.

The Committee invites your nominations for positions on any of these groups. The following are vacancies to be filled for 2011:

Laity Leader
Church Council Chair and Vice-Chair
3 members to the Board of Trustees
3 members to the Property Committee
3 members to the Finance Committee
3 members to Staff-Parish Relations Committee
3 members to the Nominations Committee
5 active and 2 alternate delegates to Annual Conference
 

Forms are available at the Information Centers around the church as well as on the website. You may nominate yourself! Due to a limited number of openings, we cannot guarantee all nominees will be chosen. 

For questions about available positions, please contact Dr. Peter Graves (397-1359). All forms, other than those completed online, should be returned to Dr. Graves' office by October 5.
