Dear Friends,
Today begins the Astrological New Year. At 1:32 pm EDT the Sun reaches the intersection of the Celestial Equator and Ecliptic Plane in the east and therefore enters the sign of Aries. This is a great time for new beginnings with the cardinal fire impulse upon us as we enter the spring season. I figured I'd start a newsletter. What will you start?
Cheers! To New Beginnings

IAA's FREE Monthly Online Astrology Lecture
Saturday April 3rd at 6:00 pm EDT Frank Piechoski will be presenting a lecture on Annoyingly Intelligent People. This lecture examines astrological factors tied to intelligence. Using
statistical research methods, hundreds of charts of people with Mensa-level intelligence are examined for common factors and the methodology explained.
Individual charts will also be examined to show how the statically discovered factors operate for that particular person. This lecture will not be just boring numbers, but also a humorous look at what we regard as intelligence and how it relates to astrology.
Frank has lectured at conferences in the US, Canada, and Great Britain. The IAA Lecture series is online audio-visual. Register now seating is limited. |
Horoscope for the Month of Aries
Mars, the ruler of Aries, finally went direct a week in a half ago and as he picks up speed we are starting to notice a sense of accomplishment for all the spinning of our wheels we've been doing for months. The Aries ingress chart holds a nice partile trine between Mars in Leo and the Sun in Aries - a mutual reception. This is a good time to the take the ball and run with it. Just remember to keep the big picture in mind with Jupiter in Pisces in sesquaquadrate challenging us to take our actions to a larger scope of experience with universal benefits. Saturn is retrograde and opposing the sun. It will remind us of the task at hand, lessons to be learned, and if we try and try again we will eventually succeed. If we worked hard over the winter it will pay off, if we didn't we will pay the piper. Pluto in Capricorn makes a T-Square with the Sun-Saturn opposition and challenges our transformational potential. It can also lead to power struggles, try to remember power should be assumed not wielded or given away. Chiron and Neptune are conjunct inviting us to forgive others and our self for the old wounds we've been carrying around and let the healing begin. Moon in Taurus reminds us to take the time to revel in the pleasure of our senses as we watch nature's new life awaken all around us, feel connected to this budding of nature's infinite potential and embrace that quality in ourselves.
