Sport Surfacing Systems
The Plexipave Color Finish System is an all-weather, durable, quick
drying color surfacer that provides superior resistance to
deterioration from ultra-violet rays. Plexipave is a 100% acrylic
latex, color intense sports surface formulated for use over asphalt and
concrete. The high performance finish coat is ideal for tennis courts,
basketball courts, play areas, multi-purpose sport surfaces, light
traffic pathways and walks and field houses. The Plexipave Color Finish
System is available in ten popular standard colors. Custom colors are
available to meet individual needs. Plexipave has been the choice of
tournament installations around the world.

Did You Know....
The modern game of tennis originated in the United Kingdom in the late 19th century as "lawn tennis" which has heavy connections to various field/lawn games as well as to the ancient game of real tennis. After its creation, tennis spread throughout the upper-class English-speaking population before spreading around the world. The rules of tennis have not changed much since the 1890s. Two
exceptions are that from 1908 to 1960 the server had to keep one foot
on the ground at all times, and then the adoption of the tie-break in the 1970s. A recent addition to professional tennis has been the
adoption of electronic review technology coupled with a point challenge
system, which allows a player to challenge the line (or chair) umpire's
call of a point.

Carolina Courtworks is capable
of performing all work for any turn-key project including custom design
build. We are experienced in all faucets; from grading the site,
color coating, striping, custom logos and fencing. References
and pictures are available upon request.

warranty, but also a warranty from California Products. This is
a double warranty that most of our competition cannot offer.

We Offer Speed While Letting You Set the Pace
The Plexipave Color Finish we offer is formulated to meet the requirements of players at any level. Each offers varying degrees of speed and playability, all rated by the governing body of the game, the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
Plexipave Standard ITF Category: 2 Pace: 35-39
The traditional and most widely used mixture, Standard Plexipave provides a consistent and reliable medium-pace playing surface.
Plexipave HU ITF Category: 2 Pace: 32-36
Harvard University has been the birthplace of many great innovations and playing traditions. Plexipave HU is no exception. HU provides a slightly slower pace of play than Standard Plexipave.
Plexipave IW ITF Category: 1 Pace: 24-29
For those who desire a much slower surface, to compensate for lower humidity or simply to change the pace of the game,
Plexipave has developed the IW mixture, first used at the Indian Wells, CA tournament facility.
