Oh What A Night!
All Out for Autism: Island Dreams
All out for Autism: Island Dreams took place on April 24th at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. The 250 attendees enjoyed a festive island-themed evening with great music, exciting and entertaining live and silent auctions, delicious food, and celebrity guests, all to benefit Camp I CAN and other recreational activities for children and teens on the autistic spectrum. Thank you to everyone who helped to bring this event to fruition and thank you to all the volunteers who worked that night! It was a huge success and ensures that Camp I CAN and the other activities will continue throughout the year for kids and teens in San Diego County. |
There is Still Some Availability at Camp I CAN
The application process for Camp I CAN, the only summer camp in the county specifically designed for children and teens with autism is already underway. There is still some room available at both camp locations - Toby Wells YMCA in Kearny Mesa and Palomar Family YMCA in Escondido. Registration forms are available here.
