Please come and visit us at booth # B2 at the APSA Seed Congress Nov. 14-18 in Pattaya, Thailand. We would be pleased to demonstrate the latest version of AGROBASE Generation II, our software for plant breeding, now used by plant breeders in over 40 countries worldwide. In addition, we are pleased to announce our first ever regional training course in Thailand, co-ordinated locally by Seed Asia Co. Ltd, in Bangkok. This is a three-day introductory course, with Dr Mulitze as the instructor. The course is designed for: (a) new users who wish to take the first two or three days depending upon their requirements, or (b) researchers who are considering using the software within their organization but would would like to take this course for an "in-depth look" before making a final decision. Trainees must either have some prior experience with AGROBASE Generation II, or have watched the tutorial videos in our Learning Center to develop a basic understanding. To access the Learning Center, trainees will need to create their own user account on our web site. In preparation for the course, trainees will be granted access to all the tutorials for a limited time period. This preparation will help to increase the value and "return on investment" in this course for each trainee. The goal is to spend some time in the course learning how the software can be adapted to one's specific needs, rather than just how the software functions. Here are some important details about the course: - Course Manual - each trainee will receive an 80+ page training manual covering much of AGROBASE Generation II.
- Demo Version - each trainee will be given a 30-day demo license of Version 33, AGROBASE Generation II, for their laptop, prior to the course. The license period must cover the days of the course and allow for some time after the course for further independent learning. Installation of this SQL Server version must be completed at least one week prior to arrival at the course. Our support team will provide any help that they can for the installation process.
- Early bird registration date is October 7 - register and complete payment by October 7 to secure your seat in the course at the early bird rate. There are only a limited number of seats for the course, so register early. Save up to $125 CAD by enrolling sooner! Registration closes November 1, or sooner when all seats are taken.
