ABC Television's Extreme Makeover:Home Edition Makes a Stop in Eastern PA
In February of 2009, 30-year-old Andrew Urban suffered a fatal heart attack, just hours before his daughter Cora was born. The tragedy that this Berks County family suffered sparked a community  response that caught the attention of the well-known ABC TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Led by the Home Builders Association of Berks County, skilled volunteers from every home building trade stepped up to complete every detail and requirement to give Andrew's family a new home, helping them achieve their hopes and dreams.
Farm & Home Energy is honored to have been selected as the volunteer to install the Urban home's 500 gallon underground LP tank and interior pipes.
Trisha Urban and her 1-year-old daughter, Cora, were presented with their new home on August 6th, 2010 in front of a large community gathering. The show will air sometime during the fall of 2010 on ABC.

Farm & Home Energy Sponsors Community Night at a Williamsport Crosscutters Game
On Sunday, August 15th, 2010, Farm & Home Energy sponsored Milton-Watsontown community night at the Williamsport Crosscutters baseball game.
The Crosscutters are a Class A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies and play their home games at historic Bowman Field, the second-oldest minor league baseball facility in the country.
Farm & Home's sponsorship helped hundreds of people in local communities get complimentary tickets to the game. Farm & Home Energy was mentioned on the public address system and was honored with a ceremonial first pitch to the game.
 Accompanied by Boomer the Mascot, Brendan Geiger (picture on right) represented Farm & Home in the first pitch ceremony.
Over 1,600 people attended as the Crosscutters took on the Brooklyn Cyclones, with the visitors ending up victorious in 14 innings by a score of 2-1.

Referral Credit Program Doubles to $100 each - Until August 31st!
The Farm & Home Energy Referral Program continues along as summer winds down. Until August 31st, 2010, Farm & Home customers may enter as many referrals as they can type with the chance to earn unlimited $100 account credits for each automatic delivery customer referred.
The $100 credit represents double the normal amount, and customers are now able to send referrals online at Farm & Home Energy's website. |
