Welcome to Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber
Greetings!
| | Jesica Stickles, Board President |
What an exciting year we have coming up! With goals set and plans to achieve them in the works. One goal the Chamber has this year is to relocate. The economy has hit the chamber financially so it is time for us to relocate to a more affordable location within Arlington.
Since the word has gotten out about our plans to move, there has been an enormous amount of help from our membership. It is wonderful! We want to keep it coming.
First off, if you know of a location that is around 1000sf or more that you would like to see the Chamber move to, please send your information to Michael (executive@arlington-smokeypointchamber.com). He has a form for you to fill out that makes things extremely helpful.
Also, to help the Chamber set priorities, please fill out this 3 question survey. Click here We love to hear from our membership and your thoughts and ideas will be applied.

THE SPRING CERT TRAINING
March 30-May 11 | Wednesdays 6:30-9:30pm
What is CERT? Community Emergancy Response Team. CERT is about readiness, people helping people, rescuer safety, and doing the greatest good for the greatest number.
CERT is a postivie and realistic approach to emergency and disaster situations where citizens will be initially on their own and their actions can make a difference.
Through training, citizens can manage utilities and put out small fires; treat the three killers by opening airways, controlling bleeding, and treating for shock; providing basic medical aid; search for and rescue victims safely; as well as organize themselves and spontaneous volunteers to be effective.

| WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DOT COM?
While the Chamber's main web address is still www.arlington-smokeypointchamber.com, we also have a short cut for you to be able to share with others. We chose this web domain for it's similarities to The City of Arlington and DABA's web addresses. The only difference is what would have been the dot com.
The City of Arlington - Government
www.arlingtonwa.gov
Downtown Arlington Business Assoication - Organization
www.arlingtonwa.org
ASP Chamber of Commerce - Business

In February, The City of Arlington will be debuting their updated website. Make sure to take sometime to check it out.
