COMING TO A STORE FRONT NEAR YOU! |
The Buy Local Arlington campaign is off to a full start, in fact, it will soon be difficult not to notice. You will see the logo in storefront windows. You will see the logo on the websites of the City of Arlington, DABA and the Chamber of Commerce as well as the local businesses. You will see banners and signs on the streets. Our primary objective is to encourage Arlington residents and business owners to think Arlington when considering where to purchase. We want to create widespread awareness about the community benefits of choosing to buy locally in Arlington. Here are the steps to participate; go to: www.arlingtonwa.org , click on the logo, print the Kit order form, fill it out and mail it in. You too can be part of the campaign to bring prosperity to Arlington.

CHAMBER ARTICLE: By Rep. Dan Kristiansen
2010 legislative session: The business bills report In the coming weeks, many of the bills approved by the Legislature during both the 60-day regular session and the following 30-day special session will become law. I wanted to take this opportunity to provide a list of business-related bills, a description and status. Whenever possible, I voted FOR bills listed below that were supported by the business community and AGAINST those measures also listed as opposed by our businesses.
