Girls of Promise (A WFA Program)Alumnae Essay Contest - Enter Today!

Dear ,

Women's Foundation of Arkansas is honoring 3 Girls of Promise alumnae at our Designing Women event in April!  YOU can be one of these honorees by entering WFA's Girls of Promise Alumnae Essay Contest.

As you know, Girls of Promise encourages girls to pursue careers in ESTEM (economics, science, technology, engineering and math) fields - career fields Arkansas urgently needs if communities and businesses are to prosper.  Highlighting different design fields helps WFA draw a visible connection between women actively working in careers utilizing ESTEM and its Girls of Promise conference series held annually for 8th grade girls on college and university campuses across the state.

This essay contest is all about drawing a connection between ESTEM education, the power of a promise and making an impact on our state.  Winners will be celebrated in print, photos & posters and receive complimentary reservations to Designing Women for themselves and a guest.  Essay contest closes on March 1 at 12:00 AM.  Winners will be notified by April 1.
