Greetings!
Eastern Europe is getting even hotter on the menu at Trainspotters this month. We've got lots of fantastic communist-era industrial lighting coming through thick and fast from East Germany and the Czech Republic. We've also been funking some lights up in red - see below for the results. We also have a very large run of English Holophane prismatic glass industrial pendant lights as well as some unusued circa 1970's apple crates. We've just had a new truckload in from East Germany today, so keep an eye on the website for more amazing lights...

Long neck Czech pendants.
We have a nice run of these black enamelled industrial pendant lights removed from a factory in the Czech republic. Polished cast-iron galleries.

Giant black Czech downlighters.
We have a large factory load of these substantial industrial downlighters removed from a communist-era factory in the Czech Republic. Original black enamel with polished aluminium and steel fittings. Can be supplied re-painted in any RAL colour. Some variation in the colour on these lights between black and grey.

Giant red Czech downlighters.
We have a large factory load of these substantial industrial downlighters removed from a communist-era factory in the Czech Republic. Re-powdercoated and car-painted from the original black with polished aluminium and steel fittings. Can be supplied re-painted in any RAL colour.

Communist tube lights
We are very excited to have salvaged a factory load of these fantastic 1960's aluminium and glass fluorescent tube lights from a communist era petro-chemical plant in East Germany. The cylindrical glass tubes house twin fluorescent strips mounted on an internal grey powdercoated frame and set in polished aluminium end caps. Rubber seals make these air-tight and water-tight. Supplied completely re-wired and ready to go with all new fluorescent components and bulbs.

Holophane industrial pendants.
A fantastic run of English 1950's industrial pendants by Holophane. Polished aluminium cases with thick prismatic glass bowls with a secondary glass internal ring.

Assymetric Holophane pendants.
We have an unusually large run of these 1940/50's prismatic glass shades by Holophane, England. Removed from an industrial building in the south of England. They hang assymetrically on the angle.

8" Holophane pendant lights.
A nice run of these dinky 8" diameter 3-part prismatic glass pendant lights by Holophane. Circa 1920 and complete with all original clips, galleries and removable diffuser plates.

Porcelain and glass lights.
We have a large quantity of these porcelain and glass enclosed ceiling lights removed from communist-era factories in East Germany. They have integral screw-in bulbholders. Look great with our decorative 60w bulbs- available at £10.50+vat each.

1930's Jellymould lights on wall brackets.
We have a large run of these fabulous 1930's French jellymould-form lights on wall brackets with silvered interiors and amazing gold/silver exteriors. Colour and patination varies from light to light.

Leipzig helmet lights
We have a run of these extremely unusual and rare 1950's industrial pendant lights removed from the former Kandem lighting factory in Leipzig, East Germany. Resembling a Roman centurian's helmet, they comprise a grey enamelled shade mounted on a polished aluminium gallery with a polished internal reflector.

Dimensions: 64cm (25") long x 36cm (14") wide, with a 58cm (23") drop

Reclaimed labtop dining tables.
A handsome and very sturdy dining table that we have made using a reclaimed iroko laboratory worktop mounted on a steel framed base. The table top has been sanded smooth to be finished as desired. We have a quantity of these tables available.

English apple crates - Type 1-
They don't come better than this. Unusually good quality wooden apple crates, very sturdy and hardly used, all dated circa 1970. Make excellent modular shelving or storage.
