Greetings!
January has seen us shaking off the Christmas hangovers and struggling through the wind and snow to bring you more exciting finds. Hot off the press this month are a fabulous pair of Art Deco entranceway wall lanterns and our communist-era factory lighting is really starting to come through strong. Keep a close eye on the website for lots more exciting eastern block lighting coming up, including some amazing bomb-proof fluorescent tube lights.

Communist Disco posters.
We have been lucky enough to unearth a number of these fantastic unused 'Disco' posters from a former Kulturhaus in the former communist East Germany (DDR). They are dated 1976 and are all in excellent to mint condition. Available framed or unframed.

Pair of bronze wall lanterns.
A pair of magnificent 1920/30's Art-Deco bronze wall lanterns with obscured glass panels. Open-topped to provide uplight. Supplied fitted with either standard bulbholders or fluorescent lights as required.

Dimensions: 92cm (36") tall.

Pair of converted gas lanterns
A fine pair of large 1920/30's verdis-gris copper gas lanterns by Foster & Pullen of Bradford. Fully restored to a high standard and re-wired with bayonet (B22) bulbholders. Unusual ceramic plates to the interior.

Sputnik lights.
We have 5 remaining of these striking 1950/60's theatre spotlights by Mole Richardson. Fibre-glass body with polished steel and aluminium and ribbed glass lens, extensively re-furbished and painted in high-gloss red.

Assymetric angled green pendants.
We have 4 of these unusual oversized green-enamelled pendants with angled assymetric shades and polished aluminium galleries.

Large Magneta station clock.
An unusually large original 1940/50's steel-cased railway station wall clock by Magneta. Lightly beeswaxed in the original grey paintwork. Fitted with a new quartz battery movement.

Bobbin trolley No.1.
An antique bobbin trolley salvaged from a sewing factory in the north of England. Lighly beeswaxed to bring out the character.

Dimensions: 110.5cm (43.5") long x 48cm (19") deep x 99cm (39") high. Seat height 56cm (22").
