PIHMA Expands With Daytime Track
PIHMA will be offering a week-day track in addition to its weekend/evening degree programs. PIHMA, the Valley's only accredited college of Asian medicine now in its 17th year, offers 4-year Master of Science degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and has traditionally offered weekend and evening courses to accommodate the working adult. "We are now seeing a greater need for our programs to be offered during the daytime" stated Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Sue Roe. "The new daytime track allows PIHMA to reach those who may find daytime attendance a better fit with their schedule. Acu-Detox Course at PIHMA
Friday, September 14, 5:30-8:30pm Saturday, September 15, 8am-5:30pm
Sunday, September 16, 8am-5:30pm at PIHMA College & ClinicCourse Fee: $500
Acu-Detox Course is designed for those who wish to work in a behavioral health facility doing the five needle protocol. Once full credentials are acquired attendees will then be permitted to obtain Acupuncture Detox Specialist (ADS) certification via the State Board of Acupuncture Examiners. This ADS will allow you to then work doing the 5 needle protocol in an approved Behavioral Health Services facility. |
