Tarrant County Public Health confirmed Aug. 21 that there is a third human case of West Nile Virus in Burleson. The affected person lives in the 300 block of Angela Drive. The second human case of West Nile Virus was reported Aug. 15 in the 700 block of Northwest James Circle. The first was reported July 24 in the 900 block of Timber Ridge Court. All three are in the north part of Burleson. For updates, go to the West Nile Virus page on the City website. On July 20, another confirmed WNV mosquito pool was reported from the area of the Burleson Police Department (corner of Renfro Street and Johnson Avenue).
