How do you report unclean premises?
When trash and debris accumulate, it is not only unsightly but very unhealthy. Any property, public or private, should be kept free of unsightly accumulation of litter, garbage and/or junk which could become unsanitary or offensive. This includes but is not limited to tires, batteries, limbs, furniture, appliances and brush, etc. Violators are issued a warning notice to perform specific action within an allotted time frame. If individuals fail to maintain a clean property, citations can be issued. In certain situations, the City may abate the nuisance and bill the property owner for the cleanup of the property. To learn more, go to the Unclean Premises page on the City website. |

Please be courteous on City sidewalks
Please avoid blocking sidewalks with vehicles, trash bags, recycle bins, tree limbs, landscaping debris, portable basketball goals, etc. Residents use the sidewalks for early morning and evening walks/runs. It's very dangerous for a walker or runner to go out into the street because a pedestrian right of way/sidewalk is blocked. Please avoid blocking sidewalks with vehicles or any other object. |

You can take your yard waste to the City's Recycle and Compost Center
Are you trimming trees and bushes? The City's Recycle and Compost Center accepts the same recyclables as curbside pick-up. One exception - residents can't drop off other wood or wood by-products such as old lumber, desks, plywood, fencing etc., for grinding at the center. Those items are collected at the curb during a resident's zone collection week. The recycle center is open Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The center is located at 620 Memorial, Burleson, TX 76028, behind Fire Station #2. Read More |
