Take caution - extreme wildfire danger
High winds and dry conditions are causing extreme wildfire danger across Texas. The Texas Department of Public Safety advises residents not to park vehicles in tall dry grass and weeds. Hot catalytic converters can start a fire. Completely extinguish cigarettes in an ashtray. Wind-driven wildfire can move as fast as 60 miles an hour. Don't drive into the smoke. Stop and turn around when told to by a public safety official. For more, go to the Texas Department of Public Safety website. |
