'Tron' is Tuesday's free Summer Family Film at Burleson Public Library
Don't miss Summer Family Films, 2 p.m., every Tuesday in June/July, at the Burleson Public Library. The June 21 film is "Tron," a movie starring Jeff Bridges as a gifted software engineer who attempts to hack into the mainframe of his former employer, a software company, to prove that a senior executive stole the code for his games and presented them as his own. Tron is the name of a security program. When Bridges' character attempts to hack his way in, the master control program uses a laser being developed for teleportation to digitize him into the mainframe. For a list of films, go to Summer Family Films. The library is located at 248 S.W. Johnson Ave. |
