Put a lid on curbside recycling bins!

With this week's gusty winds, it's a good time to remind residents that the City's public works department has lids for those green curbside recycling bins. Call 817-426-9830 to request a lid or go by the Municipal Service Center at 1675 John Jones Dr., 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. If winds are predicted to be gusty, keep that curbside recycling inside so that bins are not littering neighborhood streets. Make sure your address is written on the bottom of the bin so that if it does blow away, the bin can be returned to you. Read more
