Burleson's senior citizens will be kicking up their heels Thursday, Dec. 30, with a New Year's Eve party at the Senior Activity Center. The noon luncheon includes ham, black-eye peas and cornbread. Take the boredom and tedious repetition out of exercising in the new year with Body Works at the BRiCk. The new program is $20 for BRiCk members or $40 for non-members. The fitness is geared toward ages 16-adult. Classes will start Jan. 10, 9:45 a.m.-10:45 a.m., and go every Monday and Wednesday through Feb. 3. Body Works includes all of the best forms of fitness instruction, including Pilates, cardio, strength training, kick boxing, core strength, aerobics, step, dance and yoga.
